Itinerary

- At 8 am our car will pick you up at hotel in Ho Chi Minh City to leave Ho Chi Minh City (other name is Saigon) for Cu Chi Tunnel which is located about 60 km from Ho Chi Minh Center.

- Before visiting the tunnels, visitors will find it hard to imagine the destruction, damage & defoliation over this whole area, caused by bombing and mines. There is plenty of evidence of the fierce battle that took place here during the 1960s when Cu Chi was a "Free Target Zone".

- We will drive through pleasant countryside with the peacefully rural rice paddy scenery containing ducks and water buffalos swimming in the rivers alongside the road.

- Before entering the tunnels visitors can watch a short introductory video showing how the tunnels were constructed.

- You will then spend the next hour exploring the tunnels under the instruction of local tour guide.

- Start the visit with the Ben Dinh or Ben Duoc sections of the tunnel. Here you can imagine what it was like to be a guerrilla complete with Russian Carbine rifles and AK 47′s on display.

- Afterwards, you can enjoy tea, cassava (guerrilla’s food during the war), then take bus back to Ho Chi Minh City.

- Arrive in Ho Chi Minh City at 14:00. The trip ends.
