Itinerary

Day 1: Hanoi – Lao Cai (night train)
  • - Pick up at your hotel in Hanoi at 7.00 pm.
  • - Transfer to Hanoi train station.
  • - Experience the romantic overnight train travel.
Day 2: Lao Cai station - Sapa - Ham Rong (B, L)
  • - Arrive at Lao Cai's train station at 6.00 am
  • - Take 1-hour car ride uphill to Sapa, have your breakfast and freshen up
  • - Walk 10 minutes from hotel to visit the local market, get intact and taking photos
  • - Walk uphill to the top of Ham Rong Mountain.
  • - Visit to an orchard garden and a mini museum.
  • - Free to relax at the evening.


Day 3: Sapa - Ta Phin commune - Silver waterfall - Tram Ton pass - Sapa (B, L)
  • - Visit Ta Phin commune, home to the Red Dao and Black H'mong ethnic.
  • - Car pick up at the hotel for a transfer to the center of the valley, take an easy walk following village path around the valley, passing by and paying visit to Black H'mong houses scattering on mountain slopes.
  • - Walk to the Red Dao village, meet groups of women making handicrafts includes embroidered clothes, handbags...
  • - Drive back to hotel and enjoy noon break.
  • - Drive uphill to visit Fansipan Mountain, stop at the magnificent Silver Waterfall.
  • - Reach to the top of the highest mountain pass in Vietnam.
  • - The rest time in the afternoon and evening is set free at your leisure.
Day 4: Sapa - Ta Van - Su Pan - Ban Ho - Lao Cai station (B, L)
  • - Explore the Muong Hoa valley.
  • - Transfer tô the valley by car.
  • - Short walk to tribal villages such as Ta Van of the Giay, Su Pan of the Black H'mong, Ban Ho of the Tay... meeting locals at home and at work.
  • - Leave Ban Ho in afternoon, back to Sapa, freshen up and have dinner.
  • - Transfer to Lao Cai station for the overnight train back to Hanoi.
