Overview

Cao Dai is a syncretist Vietnamese religious movement that incorporates aspect of Buddhism, Taoism, Confucianism and even Catholicism. The Cao Dai Temple (as it is more commonly known) was built in 1933 in a unique architectural style that reflects its blended traditions. Most people visit on a day trip from Ho Chi Minh City.

After visiting Cao Dai temple, our tour will take you to Cu Chi tunnel - a must-see historical site in Ho Chi Minh city. Here you will have a quick look of Vietnamese's life in the war time and find more about the history of this country.

Itinerary

- 08:30: Our car picks you up at the hotel in Ho Chi Minh City then depart for Tay Ninh to visit the famous Cao Dai Temple. 

- 11:30: You will arrive the Caodaism Holyland, visit the Central Temple and surroundings. Please do not forget to remove your shoes before entering.

- 12:00: Get on a balcony to view the mass. It is required we act politely and quietly while observing the ceremony.

- 12:20: Have lunch at nearby local restaurant.

- 13:40: Continue driving to Cu Chi Tunnel.

- 15:00: Arrive at the tunnel gates. Watch the movie of the war time.

- 15:20: Enter the tunnel site. Visit the gates, traps, underground hospitals, worships, kitchens, bunkers and go through a section of the tunnel

- 16:00: Finish visiting the tunnel. Get back to Ho Chi Minh city.

- 17:30: Arrive at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh city. The trip ends.
